be hurtful to anyone left out.

And unfortunately, because of the large numbers of MNers, there are inevitably going to be lots of lovely lovely posters who don't get a mention. (btw, I would love to have a Brew with all those who kindly mentioned me, annd loads more too).

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 22/11/2011 11:42

Hully..no, she doesn't like us..because people who are having a laugh are concealing all sorts of unpleasantness. And being desperate. Allegedly!

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 22/11/2011 11:42

IT'S TOO LATE NOW!

SuePurblybiltbyElves · 22/11/2011 11:45

Yay, a conversion. Verily Everlong hath seen the light and it is quichey. We love you too.

Hullygully · 22/11/2011 11:45

Having a Laugh is WRONG, tho.

The world is very serious and serious bad things happen all the time.

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 22/11/2011 11:46

yes it is, I must put that stick back up my arse.

Ouch.

Pagwatch · 22/11/2011 11:46

Rycooler, that is what puzzles me to.
Why do people suggest that if poster a writes 'i really like Jamie, she is smart and gives good advice' that there is anything at all for poster a to gain from that?

I suppose it explains why people namecheck each other. If poster a worries that posting looks like arse licking and yet Jamie cares not a jot then poster a may look like a tit.

But if poster a is happy just to observe that Jamie is indeed smart and nice without expecting any response then it is harmless. Isn't it?

Is it time for a shitlist yet?

OP posts:
SuePurblybiltbyElves · 22/11/2011 11:48

Yes. A lot of insects are crushed underfoot on your reflective country walk. Sunsets are air pollution. Flowers are slowly dying. Doom, in all things, doom.

And now I have to go and do some work Sad.

Pagwatch · 22/11/2011 11:48

Dammit. I was typing and missed a great stream of man hose jokes. My sid James brain is sad.

Pag - don't worry, these things hap-pen (is)

samstown · 22/11/2011 11:51

I really couldnt care less about these 'who is you favourite poster threads', however I had to chuckle at this as it probably the most patronising post I have ever seen on the internet, let alone just mumsnet!

LeQueen Mon 21-Nov-11 21:00:58
I think those 'Favourite MN-etters^ threads are counter-intuative.

I always get the sense that the favourite MN-etters genuinely aren't that bothered if they're mentioned or not. Which probably seems incredibly annoying and unfair to MN-etters who would dearly love (and probably benefit from) a mention.

Oh yes, the cool kids in the upper echelons of Mumsnet are just far too cool to get bothered about being mentioned numerous times on these silly threads, while the minions are bashing at the door to get one measly mention! I am pretty sure that those 'favourites' have a little smile at themselves every time they are mentioned, sumg or not!

Hullygully · 22/11/2011 11:51

Grin fanjo

SuePurblybiltbyElves · 22/11/2011 11:51

YY Pag, cheer up me old Cock.

Hullygully · 22/11/2011 11:52

I was more perturbed by intuAtive than the rest of it. But politely didn't mention it.

TheCatInTheHairnet · 22/11/2011 11:52

I don't read them because the "winners" are all the sad arses who spend too much time on a computer Wink

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 22/11/2011 11:52

I WILLY hate when i miss the man hose jokes

Hullygully · 22/11/2011 11:52

Father Christmas...stocking...coming...

Hullygully · 22/11/2011 11:53

I used to spend a lot of time on the computer but now I am so overweight I tend to fall off Sad

Pagwatch · 22/11/2011 11:55

Actually I am a bit uncomfortable about penises just now as I have to keep trying to stop the puppy licking penisdogs.

Shouting 'will you stop licking his penis' in the garden every morning is alarming the people in the park
