So many clever and inspirational folks on here.

How to choose?

I'd love to have a coffee and chat with seeker.

apart from Peachy I would love to meet Rhubarb(have met Custy and got drunk with her loads) and personalclown(we could talk about a certain group)

countessbabycham · 20/11/2011 15:47

I'd also like to meet all the other chicken keepers.

It'd have to be in a KFC,of course Grin

rycooler · 20/11/2011 15:48

I'd love to meet you Xenia - the other m'netters I mentioned I wasn't really serious about ( wouldn't mind bumping into them in Waitrose but that's about it )
The people I'd really like to meet, you know - spend more than 5 minutes with, are on the list that stays in my head. But as you're here - I'd love to meet you.

CheerfulYank · 20/11/2011 15:48

It's not winning if you just refuse to answer questions, i.e. what would you do differently to Obama in regards to Bin Laden.

flatbellyfella · 20/11/2011 15:49

Have to go feed 700 people now (work in a hospital kitchen) hope it doesn't get too personal.

Peachy · 20/11/2011 15:49

Don't worry Sevenfols- was only joking (didn't see you but nonetheless am too old to worry about threads like these LMAO).

Xenia I would not want to meet you as we have zero in common except traits (such as thinking we are right in our deeply held beliefs!) that mean we would never get on and only irritate each other immensely, but I absolutely agree wrt to wanting to punch someone. Not on.

Flanelle · 20/11/2011 15:51

I don't know many people yet, but have already taken shines to SuePurblybiltbyElves, StewieGriffin'sMom (mum?) and atyourCervix among others.

Memoo · 20/11/2011 15:52

Plonker, because she is wonderful and very beautiful.

Clossaintjacques · 20/11/2011 16:00

Well I name change regularly too.

Catgirl1976,
Hecate
Sardinequeen
Bupcakes
Kate2mum

MardyBra · 20/11/2011 16:01

I'd like to meet all the lurkers and anyone not mentioned in this thread so far. Grin

ReindeerBollocks · 20/11/2011 16:07

I, like Bibbity, would like most of you to stay online.

However if I had to meet someone, I choose Chickens (she seems like fun on a night out) or the fabulous MrsDV.

I met an ordinary Mumsnetter, was disappointing and actually nearly made me leave MN, she wasn't a bad person, just a very stereotypical representation of what Mumsnetters are supposed to be like and really everything I'm not.

Xenia · 20/11/2011 16:12

Now we hvase google image searching it can be asier than you think to "meet" people. Download the photo. Go to google image search. Find them. Then they may well have youtube videos so watch them. If there are no photos (I have none on here) then that doesn't work.

noddyholder · 20/11/2011 16:13

Xenia not the wisest advice I've seen on here!

Proudnscary · 20/11/2011 16:15

I wouldn't like to meet anyone in R either due to Burst Bubble Syndrome. Equally I'm sure no-one would want to meet me for all manner of other reasons!

I would however love to see what some MNetters look like as I just can't picture them. And be a fly on the wall to see how some behave like in real life - especially the strident ones who I always imagine as super-shy apologetic types in real life!

Proudnscary · 20/11/2011 16:15

RL not R - I wasn't trying to be mysterious.

sobloodystupid · 20/11/2011 16:18

Eek there are a few. To save their blushes and mine, there's a woman who has a number of children with special needs, who's been through all kinds of c**p and is yet so generous and selfless, there's the person who gave up so much of her time when I was going through a crisis four years ago, there are "ladies" (they'll hate that lol) on the Feminist boards who have really challenged/ supported me...

LadyBeagleEyes · 20/11/2011 16:20

The MN night out is 60 people isn't it?
That's a lot, far too many for me, Do you all get a chance to mix with everybody, or do you all sit in your own quiches and throw buns at each other? Grin

Proudnscary · 20/11/2011 16:23

LadyBeagle - yes and what if one of your MN 'heroes' turned out to be a perpetrator of a crime you can't abide like taking over every conversation or getting pissed and having a sentimental meltdown? Confused Too risky!

Trills · 20/11/2011 16:25

That's why you shouldn't have heroes - you should only ever have "people who seem alright".

Proudnscary · 20/11/2011 16:28

Could not agree more Trills. Tis a bit cringe too.

rycooler · 20/11/2011 16:31

Most serial killers look completely normal, usually quiet and unassuming types - that's how they remain at large for so long.

bibbitybobbitybloodyaxe · 20/11/2011 16:34

Should just add that I don't have any Mumsnet "heroes" either (except mebbe Hecate) and my deciding not to go to the meetup has got nothing to do with fear of disappointment or indeed of being disappointing. I know you're all a bunch of cnuts.

CotherMuckingFunt · 20/11/2011 16:36

Definitely reelingintheyears because I want to see just how fab her tits are.

CheerfulYank · 20/11/2011 16:37

Are cnuts like walnuts bibs ? Wink

CotherMuckingFunt · 20/11/2011 16:40

And babyheave so I can snog her after she's sung to me in her sweet and mellow tones.
