to think that not every man on mumsnet must be "dodgy"

A thread on mums net to settle an argument about mumsnet...
DH thinks that if a man is on mumsnet then he must have an ulterior motive, to chat up 'mums' - he wants me to add that he thinks they must be devious. I think, perhaps naively that there are probably some genuine male parents, aka dads, wishing to discuss parenting issues. DH believes men should be on dadsnet.
Genuinely looking for opinions.

I am not entirely sure what sex is.

I must have had sex once, as the evidence is there in dd, but I think it is something which other people do, like fell walking, and making their own christmas cakes.

cheeptrick · 17/11/2011 20:30

TiggyD · 17/11/2011 21:18

I did sex once. With a lady and everything.

Yuk. Far too slurpy. Shock Confused

Psammead · 17/11/2011 21:21

Slurpy? Wowsers Grin

I did dream sex last night with Dr. Who.

We were interrupted by daleks at a crucial moment.

No joke.

[slightly tragic]

AnyFucker · 17/11/2011 21:24

Psammy, this Dr Who shag is bothering you ins't it ?

Have you considered getting your dream analysed by a proper charlatan dream interpreter?

AnyFucker · 17/11/2011 21:25

my knees are awash with slurping

Psammead · 17/11/2011 21:31

It was an excellent dream. The daleks had colonised Earth, but no-one could see them apart from us. Me and the ole doc, that is. Then they came to check us out, and I glamoured them, True Blood style, into making them think I was their queen.

Then Who and I got down to business, only the glamour wore off, and the daleks tried to frame us for the murder of The Scientist.

Then we ran into the Tardis which was a bit broken, but I forgot the password and the daleks were coming. Fuuuuuuuck. Then I woke up.

LordAlconleighsEntrenchingTool · 17/11/2011 21:34

Slurpy? What were you doing? Slurpy to me suggests you were having a Slush Puppy.

MrGin · 17/11/2011 21:41

:o @ Psammead's dream....

Matt Smith ? Dooable ?

I think he's a great Dr Who. Tis very good these days..

Amy Pond :-)

MrGin · 17/11/2011 21:44

... River Song too she's greeeeeeeaat.

I saw her in Waitrose a while back... I very nearly went up to her to say ' god don't I know you from school ? '

then I realized who she was

TiggyD · 17/11/2011 21:48

I was just poking it where I was told and trying not to look.

Matt Smith is too weird looking.

cheeptrick · 17/11/2011 21:49

Has anyone had a sex dream about their partner?

I had one about DH and find that more scary than Dr. Who or Ex's!

SarahStratton · 17/11/2011 21:52

I suppose I could join a convent once DD2 has left home.
