Will all people who hate fireworks please stop moaning.
They are FUN, no nonsense pointless fun. They make up for the dark evenings and remind us that we were once all children looking forward to Christmas not harassed parents getting stressed by it.

I bloody love them. Love gathering outside in the freezing cold with sparklers, and watching the display (and the smell of firworks).

There are tablet you can get from a vet that relaxes them, I know my mil has to give one to her dog as he is scared of them.

Does anybody bake spuds in the bottom of the bonfire any more? I remember the excitement as a child, when my father would rake out the foil-wrapped scorched parcels from the silvery ashes.

They tasted like no others; smoky and aromatic. They were always hotter than the bloody sun, but to hold one in your gloved hands and just scoff it down with a knob of butter and a sprinkle of salt = childhood magic.

I still do that, really can't wait for Saturday...... Corn on the cobs nice like this but leave the leaves on as it protects the corn

Fireworks in organised displays, under strict supervision... brilliant, great fun, everyone can enjoy them, safely. Some of us hate crowds but still love fireworks. So, no, not everyone can enjoy an organised display.
