Exactly that..that is what he says at the moment, so do we.But most of my friends are teaching"pump, trump " etc.Is fart considered a rude word for toddlers?

Mog, my parents used jobby for a poo. Still makes me feel ick. We say poo and poop!!

Jobbie might be a Scots thing? Billy Connolly's "Jobbie Wheecher" skit and his references to "wee beige jobbies" come to mind. I quite like it. My parents always called it poo, and somewhere along the line my daughter's generation also decided on poo. When she was little we just called it what it was... a crap... but if I refer to mg GD's bowel movements as craps DD corrects me.

My DS started off calling farts 'frogs', we never corrected him cos it was quite funny at the time....now we all use it!!

We taught ours to say trump, mainly because my mum HATES the word fart. But of course once they get older it's just so much more fun to say fart, so our 2 DDs have taught DS to say fart and it does sound very cute when he runs around saying ' who was that? ME! I fart, I fart!' Grin. DD1 used to say 'bubbles down' which she invented herself - very polite!
