Hello, so I've been lurking for an embarrasingly long time- (started as a diversion to not smoking)
Always too scard to post- terrible speller and typer.
Anyway have rare weekend alone- still in bed- read paper- had tea and crumpets- put on washing and now can't be arsed to do any of the work I stayed home to catch up on (rest of family gone camping)
So AIBU to out myself and say hello?

Feeling even more smug now- best friend just phoned- her 3c are 10 years younger than my 3 teenages- both Dads going camping together- she had mad rush of getting 3 under 8,s ready- while my boys did all themselves and cleared up! Outed lurker and sum parent, all in one morning- can feel cloud of smug forming over my unwashed hair.

Half an hour now, and scruffy gang of St Trinian's style MN bullies have not yet turned up to duff you up, gaveitago - you're doing well

So smug now I'm not even scared- is there a "lying through my teeth" symboly thing?

Wow, Maryz - it was indeed prophesied by the Agent of Zig Zag, and it has come to pass...

I'm a lurker too, do occasionally post but mostly lurk. Hello!

So why have we all been lurking and not posting? Too little confidence, time, opinion?

To be honest sometimes it is easier to read posts than to join in. Sometimes I don't care enough. Sometimes I am scared I'll be shot down. Sometimes I don't have the time. That is the truth of it for me..

I would love some of the regulars to come and just say what ever they want. Would not consider it bullying -it would be like meeting (typing) with a familiar, friendly TV personality- Terry Wogan or Alan Partridge.

Crikey Maryz - I think as a newbie I would have been pathetically and grovellingly grateful if a bunch a regulars had turned up and started loitering on my post!

I would have offered to share my rustly bag of toffees with them, and perhaps offered to run down to the corner shop for jam tarts and crisps for them too.

It's very kind of you to suggest that I have a life, Maryz. I do, as do we all, it's just that sometimes it gets a bit much.
