to not 'get' sports bras?

I just don't understand how they are supposed to work? How are they supportive? Maybe I'm just not looking at the right ones, but a layer of stretch jersey with no wires is just not supportive, and I'm only a 34B!

I would get more support from a really padded plunge bra that kept everyting firmly in place. Is there some great secret that I'm missing?

I had a look at the Aah bra a couple of months ago and decided against it. I was put off trying it by the way it is marketed. It seemed to only be available through their website, wasn't sold by e.g. figleaves or other retailers. I couldn't buy just one - well I could, one was £60 but then came with two free - i.e. 3 bras at £20 each. I'd risk £20, but £60? Nope. Mind you, I think they're starting to turn up on eBay now for about £10-£15 for one.

Can't beat the Shock Absorber. I've been buying them since they were the "Sally Gunnell Shock Absorber".

Me too. Still refer to them as my "sally gunnel" . I wear the high impact one that looks like a really old fashioned 1950s thing, the ugliest bra you ever saw. Then I go for over kill by adding one of the compression crop top.types in a smallish size over the top of of the first one. feels like a suit of armour, but trust me, nothing moves!

I have the Freya Active underwired one that FutureNannyOgg mentioned. After years of not really finding anything that did the job I couldn't recommend them enough. At 36F they don't go anywhere with it on.
