DS is making me sit through it now... And FFS why does that child insist on SHOUTING?

Am I missing something "entertaining" about this? Confused

Abney & teal is fab too-Neap reminds me of one of dd's little friends for some bizarre reason lol

habbibu · 09/06/2012 21:48

Abney and Teal is lovely. retro and charming

PoppyWearer · 09/06/2012 21:49

I didn't like it at first but baby DS (9mo) gives Jake the hugest grin! Then sits there glued whilst I make breakfast.

Hapoy quiet baby = YABU. Grin

PoppyWearer · 09/06/2012 21:50

hapoy happy!

MrsTittleMouse · 09/06/2012 21:51

I always thought that it was anti-contraception propaganda put about by the Irish catholics. Grin Based on the fact that it was made by Irish TV and that loads of women on here have confessed to being really broody after seeing the (only) two (genuine) brothers cuddling on the bean bag at the end.

habbibu · 09/06/2012 21:53

D'you think? It would put me off having any more creatures who want to watch it...

pinkandsparklytoo · 09/06/2012 21:55

I don't mind the Baby Jake program, but the toys are hideous.

TheWalkingDead · 09/06/2012 21:59

Yes, the toys are truly scary..... Baby Jake

SlinkyB · 09/06/2012 21:59

Anyone else notice that there's a green, white and gold theme in the room at the end too? Nod to the Irish makers.

My 16mo ds loves it, we've even got a few episodes on the Sky box in case summit more rubbish is on Cbeebies.

P.s realise this is an old thread

PoppyWearer · 09/06/2012 22:00

Die, zombie thread, die!

dranksinatra · 03/11/2012 07:26

Hateful people with no lives.

Figgygal · 03/11/2012 07:42

The toys r hideous but DS has a touch and feel baby book and it's a really good bright coloured one he loves it but it has that bloody yakki yakki yoggi song all written down so I now know the words and it goes round and round and round my head Angry

ShouldaWouldaCoulda · 03/11/2012 08:10

Yaki yaki yoggy doo doo dee ba ba ba beep beep you seee! I love it!
Out of all cbs shows though I find baby jake inoffensive, and lord knows they've got some bad ones.
-grandpa in my pocket
-nina and the neurons
-gigglebizz
-zingzillas aarrghhh
-mr fookin maker

(I need to get out more)

Oh YABU!

RubyCreakingGates · 03/11/2012 08:23

GalaxyDefender · 03/11/2012 08:35

How has this thread managed to be necro'd twice? Grin
Baby Jake is STILL a favourite with my DS, over a year later.
The baby is still cute.
But still creepy.

HTH

Just digging up an old post, I can't stand baby Jake. Especially as they're now doing reruns.

Dsharris · 11/03/2017 06:54

Worst show ever!!!!

foxyloxy78 · 11/03/2017 18:56

We're off on an adventure, goggy geyah! My ds loved it as a baby! Ten mins of peace haha. Grin

WaitrosePigeon · 11/03/2017 18:57

Zombie...

Mynestisfullofempty · 11/03/2017 19:02

Dsharris What on earth was the point in digging up such an old thread?

CommonSenseIsNotAllThatCommon · 11/03/2017 19:16

DD loved it in 2011 when this thread first started and funnily enough was watching it with my neighbours two year old a couple of months ago.
Goggy geeyah

glitterglitters · 11/03/2017 19:26

I'm guessing Baby Jake is probably at school now based on the age of this thread 😂

First time I saw it I thought it was a) terrifying and b) in Welsh 🙊
