If a garment goes in the washing basket inside out, it is washed inside out and then ironed, if needed inside out and put away inside out.

I will not waste my time putting everything back the right way.

bogey ooo that sounds like a marvellous use of a lottery win :o

Mine would be a new fresh pair of pants every day, then thrown away after one wear. Mmmmmm new pants....

I don't iron any of the laundry before I put it away, I just iron each morning so everybody is well presented.

My children don't get dressed before breakfast, as I prefer them to go to school clean and not covered in drops of yoghurt/globs of weetabix.

Our school polo shirts are fab, really are non-iron. I don't iron; the few shirts that need it the cleaner does.

Bogeyface no never dressed before breakfast unless staying at a hotel or similar!

One of my friends irons for about 45 mins every morning! I don't know what she finds to do all of that! She has one more person in her family compared to us, but even so! I hate EVERY bit of housework I do, spend about 1 hour a week doing ironing

onefatcat · 02/10/2011 21:24

Only people who don't iron think that they look ok and no-one else can tell. They can!
I iron most things, they look much nicer- things look old and bobbly if you don't iron them.
OP- your house , your rules! YANBU.
