6.30 this morning I stripped all the beds and put the first load in the washer hoping to make the most of the fantastic drying weather. Then I went to work a 14 hour shift. I have just stopped for my tea break and phoned DH at home (he finished work at 4.30) he told me he has put all the washing in the dryer cos he couldn't be arsed to hang it out! I told him I wish he would leave it alone in that case. He said "whatever". I am so frustrated I am thinking I should leave the bastard. Or AIBU? I don't know what else to do! I have to go back to work now - will check replies when I get home tonight. Thanks for reading.

If he's hung like a donkey valium he could lay on his back in the garden, after he's hung the washing out - awesome clothes line prop Grin

Zukie - isn't it you who says you can't afford to eat properly - yet you use a tumble dryer?

It would annoy me no end-it is utterly ridiculous not to hang it out this weather. However there must be much more going on to make you feel like that.

YABU because you didn't anticipate this. You didn't leave a specific note instructing that the washing was to be pegged on the line. You didn't leave instructions on how to apply a 'peg' to an 'item of clothing' in a 'line-drying' scenario. You didn't get out your screwdriver and remove the plug from the tumble-dryer, rendering it inactive.

With your reckless behaviour, you've only yourself to blame....
