Joking aside I am actually quite scared!

I have spent the last week cracking jokes about my finger, telling everyone its not a problem, I won;t sue as it was an accident etc.

But when I am alone at night the dc asleep I am scared, I am scared of what my finger is going to look like, is the throbbing normal, will something be wrong with it, how long is this pain going to last.

I am sat here now in a terrible state, I would love to have a glass of wine but can't, I really just want someone to wake me up and tell me it was just a bad dream.

Glad you're feeling better about it.

Well done! You are brave.

It should be an interesting talking point for the next few weeks.

You can sidle up to Mums in the play-ground and whisper "Have you seen my finger?"

Only joking, hope you keep making progress.
