Who turn up in their PJs are just lazy?

Why would anyone want to take their child to school in their PJs? It takes what all of 5 mins getting dressed??

Just seen a mum with black and white polka dots PJ bottoms on, fluffy ugg style slippers - they were slippers as they had bunny ears on them flapping about!! Hmm

Is it just me who thinks its lazy?

Maybe they don't have an excuse. Maybe they just don't think it's important and don't give a stuff about the lemon faced opinions of others who are bored enough to care?

Anyone who thinks you must be lazy if you don't have time to get dressed clearly does mornings better than me and ought to come and help me. MY house is madness on a morning and while I do have time to at least drag yesterday's clothes off the floor and put on clean knickers, I do understand why some people wouldn't have the time.

M0naLisa Grin at your second post "oops wrong forum" (you got that right)

They look awful and create a piss poor impression, poor kids having the embarrassment that their mothers can't be arsed to get dressed.

Yes but dooin - your house is manic in the morning and you have loads to do, but at least you have standards in that you do at least get dressed.

I don't believe anyone is so under the cosh that they cannot spare 2 mins to pull yesterday's jeans on. They're either bone idle or attention seekers.

This morning I felt like keeping my pyjamas on. But didn't. I really do not understand why people would do the school run in pyjamas.

i don't think it's anything to do with not having enough time

i think it's something they think is funyn and the thing to do right now.

hence the shopping in tesco etc etc... it's just something people are doing at the moment.
looking at the full faces of make up some of them have on i'd say if they have enough time for htat they have enough time to pull some clothes on personally!

It's psychological for me. I worked until 9 last night, I'm full of bloody cold but if I hadn't showered, make up'ed and dressed this morning that's the way my day would have stayed. If I'm not done and dusted by 8am there's no hope!

I have never once thought on a morning, even when we had the car, ahh i dont think il get dressed today il take DS1 to nursery/school in my PJs. He wont get bullied cause im lazy.
Cause that would be my main worry if i went to school in PJS - Kids can be VERY cruel.

I have mentioned this on another thread but it bears repeating! A mother turned up to our school to wave her dd off on a school residential trip in PJ shorts (no knickers, yes you could tell, no I didnt want to know) a grimy vest top (no bra, yes you could tell and no I still didnt want to know) and that was it.

No shoes, not even slippers.

It was absolutely minging and I felt so sorry for the dd because the other kids were pointing at her mum and she was obviously mortified. The mother has always appeared to be a "take me as I am or go to hell" type, but there are limits ffs. The worst bit was that the bus was delayed for 2 hours, so the images of what no one wanted to see were burned into my retinas!

Yes it is lazy and whilst it doesnt affect me personally, or hurt me in anyway, I reserve the right to look down on someone who cba to drag a pair of jeans on in a morning!

I think actually it is a trend in certain parts of the country to go out in PJs with full make up on and rollers in your hair.

That certainly is attention seeking 'oooh look at me'.

I have never seen anyone in their pyjamas at school or in a supermarket.

Kids don't notice unless their mothers are judgey bitches.

I agree OP. It is laziness though it seems to be the fashion in some areas. I don't really understand what is so difficult about getting dressed before leaving the house.
