DH was in charge of B&B, I took DD for her diving lesson and then hit Tesco's just about to make some runner bean chutney and going out tonight.

fivegomadindorset · 10/09/2011 13:58

Tell me about blackberry sake.

Shoshe · 10/09/2011 13:59

I have done all the house work, washing and changed the bed, but have only just got showered Grin

Blackberry Sake is the same recipe as blackberry vodka - just replace the vodka with sake.

VeryLittleGravitas · 10/09/2011 14:21

I'm still in pjs, nursing a poorly DD, who was up all of last night cutting her canines. Every time I try to put her down she grizzles and bites my legs.

Hopefully DP will finish DIYing soon, so he can hold her, and I can have a bath. I'm covered in boobjuice and toddler drool.

TanteAC · 10/09/2011 14:21

Ok, I have now stripped th beds and done washing. Have eaten lots of cheese on toast.
Still have to:
Shower/get dressed
Go to gym
Clean rest of house
Beautify myself for ponsy dinner party.

Dinner party will be nice if I drive, and FANTASTIC if I let myself give in to the general piss-up-ness.
Hmmm. Decisions, decisions

aStarInStrangeways · 10/09/2011 14:27

nice vs fantastic Tante? that's no decision at all Grin

bananamam · 10/09/2011 14:28

Total lazy day here. Had a bath and just got clean pjs on, same for kids. Have managed to do washing and tumble drying though, polish, Hoover and clean bathroom etc.

Most of day I have been on here and checking the kids are causing no trouble. For the first time ever they are playing nicely upstairs. I have been scoffing homemade fudge and drinking lots of teaBlush. Have 6 pounds to loose and figure I will start Monday.

Friends visiting tonight. I shall greet them in pjs. They are good friendsGrin

TanteAC · 10/09/2011 14:58

Usually not a set of options at all, aStar - can you tell I am ttc?!
Although did have a neg test today, DH is up for a good time, best friend is going and I know they serve vvvv good red wine.

Will be two glasses of champage down by 6.30!

Have now had a shower, deep conditioned my hair, and painted my toenails.

House still a shit tip, but have told DH to stop on way home for hangover cures tomorrow!

LordOfTheFlies · 10/09/2011 15:21

Been to town with DD -she decided her school blouses don't sit properly with her school tie Hmm. They were last terms blouses so OK.And this year she has to wear a tie.
Bought blouses-to her exacting standard- and long sleeved shirts for DS,who's easily pleased.
Couple of Hallowe'en Decs.
Fleecy PJs (not Christmas ones though) and dressing gown for DS from Primark.

Going to dye my hair, I look like one of The Mallens Grin

gigglepin · 10/09/2011 16:09

welll now ive done some baking with ds...still in my PJ's..he keeps saying "are you getting dressed now mum?" Grin

and put dishwasher on..so technically not such a suttly slob ..

MissBetsyTrotwood · 10/09/2011 17:08

Went to the Thames festival (or Lord Mayor's Festival??) and it was great.

Knotweed eradication from -our neighbour's- garden tomorrow.

TanteAC · 10/09/2011 17:18

Hair in rollers, laundry done, and have been in my dressing gown since having a shower earlier!

House marginally less messy - did scrub the bathroom, so at least the inevitable pissed guests who will end up bak in our taxi tonight will not contract an illness.

Soon wine time, and I'm not even dressed. Good times!

Will up date with hangover tomorrow

Al0uiseG · 10/09/2011 17:38

That reminds me

pink4ever · 10/09/2011 18:12

Have done a lot more than I wanted to seeing as I have the hangover from hell-refined trip to the pics with pals turned into total piss up and me practically having to be carried homeBlush

Dragged myself out of bed this morning to take dd to dancing. Dh took ds to football. Ds2 and I went to softplay.
Dh had to go to bank so we all decided to tag along as I wanted to get dd a new dress. Of course dh got a face on after we had been in 2 shops so gave up and went for a pub lunch-which I didnt really enjoy as I still felt queasy as hell!

Came home, took one look at house-complete tip-and went back to shops again for some retail therapy-minus dh!. Got dd her dress, fab animal print dressing gown for me(dh burned my old one as he hated it so much!). But made the mistake of letting ds2 walk which meant I had to carry him most of the way home.

He flaked out as soon as we got in. I have had a bath to try and get rid of the wine fumes. Dh made dcs dinner so I can laze about in bed on mn.

Henrythehappyhelicopter · 10/09/2011 19:00

Role reversal.

DH at home doing the ironing. I am at work, drinking coffee and browsing on MN.

Oh how I love these modern times.

TanteAC · 11/09/2011 19:42

The hangover: so bad. Should have taken option A

Urghhhhh

GeneralCustardsHardHat · 11/09/2011 19:43

We went to the Dr Who rip off experience in London today. The kids had fun so it was worth it for that.
