To hate the cliquey vomit-inducing threads on MN?

Because they put me right off the whole of MN Sad.

Maybe it's because I don't generally use MN for 'chatting'; more for getting advice and opinions on parenting issues, health issues, etc (have namechanged btw as am a longstanding and cowardly MNer). But I do click on 'most active' when I come on here to see what's going on, and the clique arse-kissing and 'in' jokes between some MNers make me cringe and really put me off the site. It's like the school playground mum cliques but worse - because at least there the people really do know each other.

And yes I know threads about a thread are against MN rules blah blah but I wanted to moan about and am happy to be slated for doing so - so there Grin

I just think some MNers should get over themselves and go off and start a new 'love-in' site somewhere else. The End.

It is heart breaking, and most of ours have been rescues, so elderly when we got them :(

Gonna be gutted when our girls go, we've had them since they were 6 weeks old (and titchy tiny, with ears too big for their heads)

Cheaptrick · 08/09/2011 21:37

Rats yuk g.piggys yay

We have two in a cage in the kitchen they are called pigley and hav. Now they are cute and furry Grin

Empjusa · 08/09/2011 21:37

Our girls are definitely easier (they don't fight like boys) however they are much sneakier and ours used to be regular little houdinis. (They ATE one of their cages!!)

SuePurblybilt · 08/09/2011 21:38

Sorry. Did I break you?

I bloody wish my bunnies (of spunk foot fame) wouldn't live past their predicted age. Bastard rabbits.

Cheaptrick · 08/09/2011 21:38

FellatioNelson · 08/09/2011 21:39

SarahStratton · 08/09/2011 21:44

Get back here cheaptrick. You only had pseudo-zombiism. Or your limbs would be rotting off by now.

reelingintheyears · 08/09/2011 21:44

Fuck off Le Queen.

now.

Cheaptrick · 08/09/2011 21:44

Empjusa - there are loads of rats in my garage you are welcome to rescue them all if you want Grin

SuePurblybilt · 08/09/2011 21:45

You just keep on giving LQ. Grin

So that's all OK, honour is restored. Someone has finally been bullied.

Actually, I feel guilty. The reason I didn't get them was that they were the eggshell gloss version of Downpipe and Railings and I have no use for that.
I needed white for ceilings.

Interesting fact - rats with red/pink eyes are almost blind, and have to do a weird weaving head movement to let them work out where things are.

sjuper Yep, they chewed a huge great chunk through the base. So we moved them into a smaller cage while we went out to get materials to fix their original cage, only to discover they'd escaped that one too. And were sat watching us from inside the first cage! Hmm I'm sure they were laughing at us.

Hullygully · 08/09/2011 21:46

I had lots of rabbits

they all came to Bad Ends. some in the traffic, some with mr foxy
