Dh (that's dick husband) went off to his parents an hour and a half ago and still isn't on his way back. I'm having contractions and quite frankly hes pissing me off. He was late leaving and is now also late getting back.

I am stuck here with my mother and contractions ffs could it get any worse Angry

It's gone very quiet, hoping MardyBra has gone to hospital.

Chipsycheese · 07/09/2011 14:30

Is there news of the baby yet? Hope s/he is here safely. Very exciting.

Mitmoo · 07/09/2011 15:03

Just wondering if she's making her DH pay by grabbing his privates with each contraction if our cyber nephew has arrived yet, I guess we'll have to wait.

SusanneLinder · 07/09/2011 15:15

OO no news then. I wanna know if everyone is ok and her DH has enough of his privates left to conceive again :)

MrsRhettButler · 07/09/2011 15:48

pisses my guess is to drop off the older dc...

awww, i bet shes sitting there snuggling her baby :)

HipHopOpotomus · 07/09/2011 15:54

Good Luck Mardy.

if it helps, DP and I hadn't spoken for a week when I started contractions with DD2. We then had a blazing row at 5.30 am, between contractions, and I told him I had lined up friend to come to birth while he looked after her kids, as I wasn't taking bad vibes into the delivery with me. Grin

Didn't have enough time in the end (delivery very fast), and DP ended up being totally brilliant - it all worked out in the end. But my fury at him between ever rapid contractions was memorable.

Milknosuger "Woaaaah! I really thought you were about 4m gone...."

"4M gone" that's not a baby it's a whale shuddering at mental images of that birth.

gallicgirl · 07/09/2011 17:03

Impressed with her ability to MN through contractions.

Shock

After 4 hours oh labour I couldn't even hit the space bar to time contractions.

Hope DS arrives safely. :)

MardyBra · 07/09/2011 17:07

Just come across this thread (when some other MNers asked me if I was in labour!). Good luck LoveBeing

Againagainagain · 07/09/2011 17:23

Ha ha no longer being ignored by mardy bra, good luck

SDTGisAnEvilGenius · 07/09/2011 17:28

When my waters went, with ds3, dh had the other two dses at the office with him (to give me a lie-in), and when I rang and told him my waters had gone, his colleagues expected him to drop everything and dash home - but he didn't. They were rather shocked, but to be fair, my previous labours had been 37.75 hours (from my waters going, with ds1) and 24 hours - so no-one was expecting me to be super-fast with ds3 (and they were right - a mere 20 hours).

But if my previous labours had been quick, and he'd buggered off anywhere - well, let's just say the vasectomy wouldn't have been needed!

Mardybra - good luck, and fingers (but not legs) crossed - hope to hear good news soon!

LoveBeingIgnoredByMardyBra · 07/09/2011 17:45

Hello aunties from baby lovebeing!

I arrived very quickly after getting to hospital, in fact although in the birthing pool room we didn't make it in or have enough time for the mw to examine mummy.

I am still nameless but weight 6lb13ozs and caused a small 2nd degree tear and as I was a bit shocked by my fast arrival, as was my mum, I needed some air.

Am enjoying lots of bf and looking around. We are still waiting to be taken to our private room which we get for being so good and quick!
