Dh (that's dick husband) went off to his parents an hour and a half ago and still isn't on his way back. I'm having contractions and quite frankly hes pissing me off. He was late leaving and is now also late getting back.

I am stuck here with my mother and contractions ffs could it get any worse Angry

Good luck! Exciting! Why isn't he on his way? Odd!

worraliberty · 07/09/2011 11:10

So he left for his parents house knowing you were having contractions? Confused

MrsRhettButler · 07/09/2011 11:11

Oooh, I think you should go in!

Envy that you're in labour and I'm not.

Good luck Grin

LoveBeingIgnoredByMardyBra · 07/09/2011 11:12

I'm going to be a cyber auntie, runs around the room feeling even more excited you're sharing your labour with us. This is sooooooo exciting.

Gives DH a cyber slap for not being there yet.

ChippingIn · 07/09/2011 11:19

Why did he go to his parents?

Mitmoo · 07/09/2011 11:20

I'll talk to Ernie, premium bonds do ya? Wink

funnypeculiar · 07/09/2011 11:20

Ohh, another one who things you should go in if things were fast last time. I went from "contractions I can focus myself through' to giving birth in literally 10 mins with my second. If I hadn't been in hospital already (due to bleed) I would absolutely have had the baby at home. The contractions just never felt that bad - even though they were coming regularly. I'd ring the unit & let them know your contraction frequency & how long they're lasting & see what they think. Ignore Dickhead - he has a lifetime of being bollocked ahead of him, your baby only has one Birth Day!

ChippingIn · 07/09/2011 11:20

Presumably to take DC1 yes? Maybe DC wasn't settling so he stayed a little while - might be best not to start calling him everything under the sun just yet - you might need to save some of those for when you are pushing later Grin

VelvetSnow · 07/09/2011 11:22

Perhaps you should change your name to

LoveBeingIgnoredByDH

Good Luck. Go to hospital without him. Concentrate on you and baby and deal with him when everything has settled down.

worraliberty · 07/09/2011 11:29

I'm so confused lol

Why did he leave you alone, knowing you were having contractions since 8.30?

Mitmoo · 07/09/2011 11:36

What a plonker! It's a wonder he knew where to put it to get you preggers in the first place.

(hoping laughter will help with the contractions)

LoveBeingIgnoredByMardyBra · 07/09/2011 11:37

He's back!
