Oh fuckity. Wedding planned, booked, paid for etc. Just found out I am 4 weeks with pfb (highly unplanned) so due 2 months before wedding which is June next year.

Would I be very unwise to go ahead with wedding or does 2 months sound an ok time to 'recover'? My dress is ordered in a size ten how in the bleedin Nora am i going to fit into it?
Please tell me your magical-baby-weight loss stories :o

Randomly have just read about the GI Diet and it looks like fairly good one for me to follow seen as i'm not overly keen on pasta, bread etc. I am always partial to a nice bit of cake though so i guess i'll just have to change the dress to a 12, stick as closely as i can to a healthy eating plan, exercise plenty and cross my fingers with regards to emcs, bleeding, stitches and inflating boobs :o

Hello ... I have just found myself in the same situation.. Except I am due 6 weeks before my wedding. We are all paid for (destination wedding as we are from different countries with family and friends flights and accom all booked in!) .. We can't change the date of the wedding and we are slightly freaked. Is this possible do you think to have a baby and wedding so close together??

mumsyweddingfreakout - you might be better off starting a new thread this one is from '11!

Congrats on the bebe :) I would say 34 weeks could be do-able, assuming you get the go-ahead from your Dr and have appropriate travel insurance. Depending on the airline you're using there may be some restrictions but these are generally only if you are like 38 weeks+ www.babycenter.com/0_airline-policies-for-pregnant-travelers_6976.bc?page=3

Just thinking, you really should ask for your dress to be slightly bigger. Think if you end up going overdue by 2 weeks and then end up with a section you could well be out of action for that entire 8 weeks. At least if you get it bigger you know you're covered and you can always get it taken in closer to the day
