To say thanks to all of you who helped with my mums situation!!

Just want to say a huge thanks re: aibu to be concerned about this man thread. Emailed mum with a load of collected evidence about the scams going on, mostly thanks to you guys! She got in touch with the dating site to investigate and surprise surprise he is no longer a member. Although he has sent a photo which we were having a laugh over today, I might have to put it on my profile!

Its hilarious, its 'chris' holding a big white board saying 'i love you caroline, you can trust me Im not a scammer' but its so obviously photoshopped on its crazy!!

so glad it all turned out ok. You did the right thing and obviously have a wonderfull relationship with your mum. just hope she isnt too gutted and you do all you can to cheer her up.

Excellent - well done you for getting though to her, in a nice way.

LOVE the picture. But looks not so much photo-shopped as photo- copied! You can even see the shadowing on the text!
