just looked on the calender to see what time my appoinment is tomorrow and it's just dawned on me that this is the 1st year i have forgotten the day me and DH met.

we normally celebrate it, by both booking the time off work and spending the day together.

Can't remember the date we met, or the date we married. Love and celebrate all the days inbetween however.

We know the day we got married. As for any other things like the day we met, the day we got engaged, neither one of us have a clue. Neither one of us have forgot our anniversary, though.

we have both forgotten our wedding anniversary before now, never even dawned on us to celebrate the day we met

We used to in the first 4-5 years of marriage celebrate the day we met with a nice meal. But now it often gets forgotten. In fact this year was our 10 year wedding anniversary. We didn't really do much and may as well have forgotten it due to be stupid enough to marry in the summer holidays pre children when things like that didn't occur to us I'm not a huge fan of anniversary hype. But it is nice to mark the occasion with something small
