To be miffed that partner gave his ex wife a lift

Would it bother you if your partner's ex wife was taking their child on a holiday and your partner picked her up and gave them both a lift to the trainstation?

YABU. I don't get this at all. Assuming he was just being kind and assuming she is not particularly unpleasant to you in general. I believe in having as good a relationship as possible with exes especially if kids are involved.

I don't know if it's the case with you, but sometimes when you love someone it's easy to feel angry on their behalf, and end up really loathing someone you know has hurt them. When they continue to be polite to that person or do favours for them it can make you feel angry at your loved one. It's usually because as an outsider to the situation you see the issue as balck and white but the people involved see the shades of grey.

I have not had an ex; but I assume you do have to be careful how you handle them. I think EX has to mean what it says. (unless children are involved.)
