Really how bad an example are they to kids? Oh no a dog has appeared on my doorstep therefore someone must need help so I better call fireman Sam. Or I dropped my keys down a drain I need to call the emergency services. WTF? And exactly how thick are the kids? Especially Norman, though the adults aren't much better. It actually makes me a little bit ragey. Unfortunately ds loves it. So aibu? Imdont think I am.

Nun, I totally agree. It's Awful. Haven't seen the previous non-CGI version and it's only just come to our attention over here (Australia) - I already loathe it.

Like a previous poster, I can't stand that so many childrens' programmes these days are full of badly behaved, ill-mannered characters!

I'd like to see a GOOD example set by their favourite characters, not a bad one. Or if they must be bad, then they should get their come-uppance properly.
