I bought something off the sale board on here and it's arrived and well....
I can't believe that someone would send something out like this. Unwashed ie.musty not dirty, screwed up, faded and bobbled to within an inch of their lives.
I know they were cheap but bloody hell have some shame!

OP posts:

I love the way that apparently OP you are too afraid of confrontation to approach them quietly so will slag them off on an internet forum you know they use

Admit it - you're just a shit stirring attention seeker

LolaRennt · 16/08/2011 14:36

Op has name changed so she isn't "confronting" anyone as such.

Anyway OP yanbu to be annoyed about bobbles, but wern't there photos of item? I think the musty thing is silly as most people always wash second hand clothes no matter what, even if they smell clean so mumsnetter would have just wasted time and money washing them

StrawberryTot · 16/08/2011 14:42

there's a buying and selling thread on here

*runs off to find bargains and to try and unload all the clothes and bits that my dd and ds have accumilated over the years :o

unwashed sounds unacceptable.... but sometimes I don't know what people expect. I have sent out stuff for cost of postage and advertised as needing repairs only to be told it was unredeemable -- and I'm thinking, "no, it needs minor repairs, I don't need it myself or I'd still be using it " or I've sold something for 1-2 quid that costs 8-12 quid new, and told it was too stiff to be used (and no other criticism, cloth nappies)... and I'm thinking, "What did you expect for 1.50?"

So yes, if it's cheap expect a problem or two. If you want perfect, then buy new.

Passive aggressive much?

I'd be happy enough to dream shag Paul McKenna to be honest. That wouldn't necessarily indicate a fail to me.
