To ask a question about your handbag

No, not whats in it but where do you keep it (and address please)...

No seriously, do you have a place for yours or do you take it to your bedroom or what? This has been a source of confusion for me as mine always seems to be lying around or plonked on the kitchen table. Ive always wondered if people had a specila place for theirs or if they also just plonk theirs somewhere....

I come in from work and put it on the dining table.

It's then demoted to the floor when we sit down to eat.

I take it upstairs with me when I go to bed and it lives on the bedroom floor along with half a dozen other bags that I keep meaning to tidy up.

Don't put it on the table/kitchen counter - that bag spends time on the floor in public toilets!!

I used to leave mine lying around, then we were burgled while asleep. They did no damage and TBH I wasn't sure at first that we had been burgled, but everything of value had disappeared from my bag. Now I take it upstairs with me at night.

My brother bought me a handbag hook. It looks like a small jewelled weight, with a hook that wraps around it. You put it on the table in restaurants etc, so your bag doesn't get germs/damaged on the floor. (It even opens up to show a mirror, which is handy when I have been eating chocolate cake!)

Mine gets dropped on the kitchen floor when I get home from work but I always take it upstairs when we go to bed. Stems back from when I was a kid and we were burgled. Mum always left her bag downstairs and it was nicked. Purse contained her house keeping money-all we had . She was so upset but we are talking about 45 years ago. Memories eh??

I like to take mine upstairs at night in case we're burgled.
