Why am I so repulsed by this? I mean, do they change the water in the tank between victims customers?

Am I the only person who isn't that excited by the idea of a live creature eating my dead skin?

YANBU. I think it's cruel.

I'm not sure if it will spell the end, kungfu. After all people continue to do things that are far more risky, like smoking for instance.

I was tempted to try this, but I'm not sure about it. Apart from anything else I'm not sure it would do much for my feet as apparently it doesn't remove hard skin, so I would rather just have a proper pedicure. Haven't had one in a long time.

DISPELLING THE MYTH:Feet should be checked for infections by trained staff anything infectious cannot go into the spa - washed NOT baby wiped! this is toxic to fish! The tanks have ultra violet lights that sterilise the water, and pumps to filter them continuously, and percentage of water changed daily. The fish can feed up to 45 mins - but then should be rested. Feeding the tropical fish food daily maintains their nutritional status.

I actually want to go tot the spas in eastern wurope where they come from.

But then I have psoriasis and the fish pedicure removed a very nasty patch that none of the creams / treatments had.

At the spas you are meant to spend 3 hours at a time in the ponds.
