And is it acceptable to post "Get a Room you two" or "Barf" beneath it?

I remember a thread on here once where there was a husband and wife posting on it and actually having a conversation via MN. Weirdos. They were in the same house at the time.

superv1xen · 04/08/2011 10:02

@ bertie, i have friends who type lyk dat too :o

TheMonster · 04/08/2011 10:03

I think people actually belive that gorgeous is spelt gawjus.

nickschick · 04/08/2011 10:04

My theory is .....the wife knows the blokes passwords Grin and these are things she wants us to think they say to each other - I never read stuff like 'you ironed my shirt' 'dont spend all the giro' 'whose had the last of the milk' so it cant be 'normal' life Grin WinkBlush.

The word 'fella' makes me heave. I acknowledge it's my problem but I still want to commit violence whenever I see it.

catgirl1976 · 04/08/2011 10:13

What about "gawjus fella" Victor? I actually think commiting violence due to that atrocity would be pretty defensible in a court of law.

Deflatedballoonbelly · 04/08/2011 10:15

My friends do it. But they are terribly insecure.

BertieBotts · 04/08/2011 10:16

My ex did it a lot with his girlfriend when they first got together, and actually I think it was for my benefit, to show how much he'd moved on and didn't need me. I know that sounds bigheaded but he kept posting things like "I'm so much happier than I've ever been" and "I've never met anyone like her" (although then he told someone else he was still in love with me... Hmm, like I would care) it was clearly irritating all their friends who kept posting stuff like "GET A ROOM" and "He's not the one, don't be stupid, you've been together 2 days" (At least they had sensible friends Grin)

ClaireDeLoon · 04/08/2011 10:25

I have a fb friend who posts about how happy she is and how great life is and how wonderful it is that she has a new guy, and tbh I think 'how sweet' and I'm happy for her. That I don't mind at all.

I have another fb friend who thanks her DH for being so great and doing this, that or the other, when he isn't on fb, it's just all attention seeking. That I find irritating. Have been thinking of binning her tbh.
