I'm wondering how this even got approved by the editor? Did it go completely unnoticed how bad this would look or do they enjoy the controversy she creates?

This really casts her in a worse light then I've seen before.

I rated a couple up. One about how it was entirely her own fault because she knew when she was travelling, she knew when she needed the jabs by and she left it late so it wasn't the surgeries fault and another one calling her a dozy mare :)

Anyway yellow fever vaccine has to be given at least 10 days before travel or the certificate isn't valid, so hers wouldn't have been as she only had it the day before.

All other vaccines may or may not have been in stock, and would have required a pre-travel assessment which can take 20-30 mins. Malaria tablets have to be started between 1 and 7 days before travel (depending which type you have).

If someone turned up at our surgery asking for all that lot the day before travel I'd have politely directed them to the nearest private travel clinic.

Oh and to make the link between a surgery not offering an on-the-spot travel health consultation and the abuse at Castlebeck is just vile

there is a special circle in hell for liz jones types. what an utter dickhead. apart from her whole "liz jonesness" has she ever heard of a travel clinic? dedicated clinics that just do travel medicine then she could have waved her borrowed money in their faces and got exactly what she wanted. i just can't understand her at all. she is everything that is wrong in the world.
