Wondering why boys nowadays have 1 hand down their pants??

I'm not sure if this is a regional thing or nationwide, if its just up here in the North then count yourself extremely lucky that you don't have to witness a gang of young boys (I've seen as young as 10 at least), standing with their friends while they all have 1 hand down their pants, even walking around or standing in a queue, Its everywhere and i just dont know how it started or why. It looks disgusting and makes me sick when i see it....

It started off girls wearing their pyjamas out, then progressed to wearing their curlers out, now the boys have hit back with their own "thing".

Why, Why Why????

Just realised that the thread was 3 years ago! Pleased to report that fiddling oneself in public didn't catch on as I've never witnessed it in the Home Counties.

It's something to do with hip-hop culture isn't it? I watched that Shady Cypher thing on YT and none of the men seemed able to keep their hands away from their crotches for more than a second.

I always think it's looks like they are unbearable itchy/yeasty in that area and in need of some topical medication.

its not just boys.

I phoned police once via a police friend by text (so bloke wouldn't hear me talk), there was a bloke maybe 19/20 standing in bus queue, group of young girls there and he was leering at them, signalling with his eyes to them to look down and he was fiddling away like mad, hand down pants.

police came quickly.
