He is great fun and has an admirable enthusiasm for life. But the singing? Stop, already! He turns quite good music into something tedious. Yes, sadly I cringe too....

4 months ago i requested a ticket to see lovely john in concert, for my birthday.

if it is not forthcoming i will be absolutely gutted.

I remember one evening a couple of years ago he was on four very different types of progs in a row .... he joked himself on BBC Breakfast that he'd be doing the news next.........now that's news i would love to see

well to be fair, nearly everyone is taller then Tom Cruise.

Aaw he's lovely! I saw him in panto last year and he was excellent.

I think it's very endearing that he can't talk to another Scot without lapsing into his Scottish accent.
