that they will not say that "I think it is a bit too much land for us" or " I didn't realize 118 acres looked like that"!! Well why the bloody hell are you looking at it then!!!!

Not sure why link did not work. There is no point in posting it as most of you think I'm trying to get free advertising. Not interested in that, or boasting just having a bit of a moan, as I spent two days tidying outside and a week mowing verges only to be told it's looks a bit too much land!!!!! and this is the fourth viewer who has said so!!

I think it would be difficult to imagine how big 118 is

God I have this problem all the time. People don't like my house because they say its too huuuge and beeyootiful.

My nanny is a right pain in the ass as she's always trying to do extra hours and won't accept payment for them. and my husband is driving me mental cos every time I get home from the gym my front door is rammed with dozens of red roses.....

I've also got so much money I don't know how to spend it and my kids are so well behaved in school it's embarrassing....

yanbu. how anyone can't visualize 118 acres in this day and age is a sad indictment of the education system. I feel for you op.

I would find it doubly difficult since that site has it in hectares. I know how big an acre is, i have 3 of them. i have no idea of how big a hectare is so if coming from the uk to view a french proerty may well make that sort of error.

I would have thought that in France you would be describing by hectares rather than acres.

118 acres is relatively small in terms of commercial farming.

x-post

A hectare is about 3 times the size of an acre.

MrsKravitz · 17/07/2011 14:55

Report
MrsKravitz · 17/07/2011 14:56

How many football fields is it? That will give people some idea surely?

Report
sparkle12mar08 · 17/07/2011 15:09

Have had a quick hunt around, an acre is marginally gigger than a UK football pitch, so you're looking at land of over 120 football pitches. That's fucking huge!!!!

Report
sparkle12mar08 · 17/07/2011 15:10

oops I tell a lie, it's the other way round, I reckon you're looking at about 90-100 pitches. Still bloody big!

Anyone with property to sell in Italy???

Fancy a Cascina in deepest, darkest Lomellina ?

Probably not. Everybody likes that bloody Tuscany.

Look, I'll take it off your hands, if you like. We can do one w/e every few months if we visit all our places in rotation.
How many staff bedrooms?

It's almost as irritating as when your diamond shoes pinch.
