To do the Junior Maths Challenge myself?

DS1 is in year 7 and recently obtained a gold certificate in the junior maths challenge. I was pretty impressed, and decided to have a go myself to see how hard it was. Turns out it's not actually that hard

Anyone else up for it? The link is below, you can't spend more than an hour on it and read the mark scheme before you start, as you can lose marks for answering the later questions incorrectly.

My amount of answers was true. This is the junior paper though. I would have to do the inter/adv paper to get a true result.

Might add I'm doing a degree to get QTS with maths as specialist subject (inc KS3 and 4). If I couldn't do the junior paper I would think I was aiming for the wrong career.

My DD1 got a gold in the inter one last year and was a couple of marks away from the Olympiad

94 here , some of those were very tricky

They do make you think, don't they?

I got DH to do it last night, he got 74. He used LOADS of scrap paper! He looked a bit chastened, as DS1 beat him soundly.

I have promised not to tell DS that either of us has done it!
