I am clever and have a good sense of humour, but I can't keep up with some of the quick witted responses to some of these threads. So, while I can appreciate how funny the comments are, I just can't join in!!

Am I hopeless??

PS. there was Wine involved in the writing of this thread. Is that a start?

superjobeespecs · 25/06/2011 00:16

Neverlandpirate · 25/06/2011 00:21

I was told once from a very wise weird midwife that there is an old wives tale that you lose half of your brain cells when you give birth... Thankfully I only have one dd, but my poor mother had 5!!..that speaks volumes about my dm!! Grin

superjobeespecs · 25/06/2011 00:29

oh jeez!! after this one i'm gonna take up drinking :) think that only kills a few hundred thousand at a time must be better than half now im wondering if when DS arrives i'll just be a total zombie

Suncottage · 25/06/2011 00:39

Who mentioned zombies?

Pulls up the drawbridge and arms the towers!

Get SarahStratton NOW!

Neverlandpirate · 25/06/2011 00:42

I have my invisible cloak on now to protect against any attacks from anything....but one wee tiny question...what's the problem with zombies?

whethergirl · 25/06/2011 00:44

Norks, I'm so glad I'm not the only one that feels like this. In RL - I am the funny one. I really am. On mumsnet, I am the thread killer, the target of buns, the forever cross poster, the party pooper and the tumbleweed inducer.

The way I make it all better in my head, is to realise that all the funny ones spend hours and hours on here and so have developed their MN funny bone, whereas I have far more important things to do like....erm....punishing children and stuff like that.

Neverlandpirate · 25/06/2011 00:49

Oh whether please don't mention punishing children...I am just calming down now after an eruption I had 6hrs ago when I discovered my dd had written all over my bedroom wall.....for the second time this week!!!!!!!!!

superjobeespecs · 25/06/2011 00:49

im really not sure but numerous threads ive lurked on and not posted cos i couldnt think of anything clever or interesting to say and didnt want to kill the poor thread browsed have had repeated mention of zombies and the fear of zombies

Suncottage · 25/06/2011 00:53

Whethergirlwhatever

@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ [tumbleweed]

Pulls cotton wool out of ears.

Sorry? What did you just say? Your hobbies are golf, masturbating and strangling small animals?

Have you ever slept with a famous person?

Me neither....................

I am overlooked ALL of the time.

Can't think why?............................Sad

But your post made me laugh Grin

whethergirl · 25/06/2011 00:53

Zombies eh! What are they like! Walking around and eating people of all things!

Neverlandpirate · 25/06/2011 00:56

I went to the same school as a famous golfer...do I get a prize for that?

superjobeespecs · 25/06/2011 00:56

yeah tell me about it all slow and mumbly 'tut' with their bandages and glowy eyes

whethergirl · 25/06/2011 00:56

Suncottage, I made you laugh? Whatever, it was never my intention and it's not what I set out to do. And I'm sure I'll never make you laugh again, so what.

whethergirl · 25/06/2011 00:59

Oh you're just like me Super, I could talk about zombies ALL night.

I have nearly slept with a famous person. I went out with a guy whose hand was the hand pictured on the box of Connect Four.

And a published author once fixed my loo. And that's just off the top of my head.

superjobeespecs · 25/06/2011 01:02

yeah definately i love zombie talk..Hmm Grin my claim to fame is as follows:

see him that was on corrie and his daughter that was in wild at heart bashed his head in? well my sister knows his wifes sister/female relative and he was in my hometown once and went the other way after being told my sis would stalk him her being a fellow ginger and all

and i met 911 before they were famous.

Suncottage · 25/06/2011 01:05

I have slept with several a famous person people but Jesus H Christ he they was were boring.

Can we talk about zombies again? Just to remind me!

[hopeful look]

Neverlandpirate · 25/06/2011 01:08

A zombie has just waltzed into my bedroom, dropped some manky bandage on to the floor and legged it.....I didn't even get a chance to say Hi...

Think he was looking for someone.....

superjobeespecs · 25/06/2011 01:10

one just peeped in by my blinds think he was after my kitten*

[terrified to look again]

  • not a euphanism she's real and not a part of my anatomy Grin
WetAugust · 25/06/2011 01:12

Son has bought the Zombie Survival Guide

I feel more reassured that we would be prepared Smile

Neverlandpirate · 25/06/2011 01:14

Oh tell us more WetAugust... I had an invisible cloak on earlier but the zombie saw straight through me....does your book give any hints or tips for evading the zombies?

Suncottage · 25/06/2011 01:15

Never and Super

Yep! It all sounds too familar. Slept with both of them.

[sigh]

Sloppy kissers the pair of 'em.
