I'd appreciate some honest feedback.

I have never had to shave my legs , my legs are hairless....completely hairless.

But I constantly get chatter from friends..........oh i have to shave my legs before i go on date.............oh shave legs before wearing skirt.

Surely I cant be the only female in the UK who has never had to shave her legs

Is there any other, hairless (leg and outer arm) women out there?

I am very unhairy too and wax mine twice a year. No hair on tops of legs, no hair on arms, minimal underarm hair, errr, quite wispy pubes...

I've known some people who shave their arms! Now that's something I've never fancied starting

I am dark, but have no hair on arms or upper part of legs - lower leg not very hairy at all. I used to epilate, but epilator died a few weeks ago. I shave at the minute, but just twice a week.

My mum is like you ... she has hair, but not much of it!

Mine are proper hairy - think of a dark-haired man's arms and you get the idea, it's not coarse hair but there's a lot of it. I'd love to blame some kind of dark-haired ancestry but mum is darker than me and still less hairy.

Before I started waxing, many years ago, very hairy. Dark hair on fair skin.

Now more like headfairy.

I feel a failure as a women because I not need waxing or shaving

I shave every day in the shower so i barely even get stubbley (sp?).....and still keep hiden away covered in clothing

I'm very pale with dark hair. I shave my legs every morning in the shower, so I don't know what they would look like if I didn't! Oddly, my arms are completely blonde. It's like the hair on my legs thinks it's from my head.

Very hairy, got dark hair and very pale skin, plus PCOS, so also got hirsutism.

I have to shave my legs daily, I also shave my arms (because I don't want to look like gorilla woman), and i have to pluck my face hair.

I'd give anything to stop all this damned hair.

I have a friend who is practically hairless and never needs to shave. I wasn't so bad before DS, now I am a woolly mammoth

Not a freak. Very lucky. Mine are slightly stubbly at the moment. I'm letting them grow for a bit.

Why do you want the hair? Be careful what you wish for...you might grow a beard instead.

I have a bit too much oestrogen and am far from hairless. My hairs are dark so if I don't shave it's obvious and I can never get my underarms to be completely hairless, they always have a stubble.

I have fairly hairy arms too but they are lighter so not as noticeable. dd has hairy arms and I just hope that no-one picks on her for them.

Hairless above the knee, v. little hair below. Probably wouldn't need to shave it if I hadn't started as a teenager but hey, ho hindsight. I do have partial Mediterranean heritage though, so have expectations of a fine mustache later in life .

I'm half a gruffalo, i love it when i go for a wax and they grow back fine,wish i'd never started shaving.I'm really hairy i hate it, its the bane of my life, i've had laser treatment on my face and its still not sorted.You think some boffin would have invented something that really works.

Its a real confidence shaker being hairy i hate it. If other DH ever mentions it i always say " i'm not hairy, i just feel the cold" .

I come from a mixed background [Irish/Jamaican], and my d.d is half Pakistani, and she does have a bit of a Magnum P.I already, she's like snow white[with a tash] very pale, dark hair.And i'm determined she won't shave/pluck.Do you all think that there will be something to help the hairy by the time she is a teenager?? I had absoloutely no confidence as a teen-ager.

I am fairly lucky really because I am brunette but my body hair is mostly fair. I epilate my legs now (shaving too painful) about once every 2/3 weeks. Don't know why I both though as I refuse to have bare legs in public

Shave underarms every other day. Don't both with thighs as the hair is fine and blonde like arm-hair. I had a friend who used to epilate her forearams, ouch. I do bemoan my lack of eyebrows though.

I don't shave my legs/underarms but I do wax. I can get pretty hairy between waxes! I'm a hairy person anway, my thighs are okay but not great, my lower legs get awful, but they're patchy too due to the wacing for so long!

My arms are virtually hairless, so are my calves. My armpits do grow some isolated black hairs that get noticable after about 4 weeks, and then I shave them off. Same with my shins. I don't think of myself as a freak, I think of myself as bloody lucky!

My two sisters, who are very very similar to me in colouring (dark), both have to shave their legs so as not to look like goats.

Very hairy at the minute as I can't find my epilator! My leg hair is noticeable as I have very pale skin and dark leg hair. They are less hairy after waxing for a while, I use an epilator now, and the hair has grown more sloŵing since having kids.

ThePathan - you can buy bleaching kits for hair on the upper lip. Much better than getting in a tizz in your teens and shaving it (like my cousin did). Electro-what you call it is also good but painful and expensive (according to same cousin, now grown up).
