to ask you to donate in memory of Anabelle?

A blogger friend and MNetter is spending today missing her daughter Anabelle, who was born sleeping on 21st June 2010.

She is also gearing up for the weekend, when she will be hosting a fundraiser to support the charity SANDs. She and her husband have already raised over £1000 for the charity which supports bereaved parents and finances research into stillbirth and SIDs.

Her blog is here

And the fundraising page is here.

Please, if you can afford it this month, would you donate even a small sum in memory of Anabelle and the other 6500 children who died either at birth or within 4 weeks of birth.

And if you are on FB, or Twitter, please pass the blog link to your friends.

MNHQ have informed me that this thread will be moved to Charities at the end of the day, so let's keep it bumped till then.

Caz, will email you with the rest of what MNHQ have said.

If you will forgive me for linking to my own blog, today I am raising the issue of stillbirth and asking readers to follow my link to the SANDS website and sign the petition. UK has one of the highest rates of stillbirth in the developed world and we have to do something to change this.

MNHQ have gently rapped my knuckles and offered to leave this thread in Aibu till tonight as there is more traffic here. They will then move it to charity.

Thanks all for donations and bumps

This was on my radar as it's on my MN local box, (not usually much on there).

I don't live too far away, so hope to go on Saturday.

Another waiting for payday to come, DH gets paid Saturday though.
