To ask if you believe in angels

Thought about this when reading another thread & just wondered what people thought. I do believe in angels but have never seen one.....

Angel iconography does NOT equal proof.

I see smiley faces all the time, are there actual giant yellow round beings with various expressions then?

I believe in God. Not sure about angels, though I will say I believe in the possibility of them, yes.

I have never understood the fairly recent popular obsession with Angles! It's blinking weird! My MIL is "into" them...she's always buying my DC little angles and angel books...harrmless I supppose but a bit silly.

I believe in Angels, I don't believe they fly around with wings carrying harps though. I would say we have 'guardian' Angels who are there for us in times of need if we want their help. We just have to ask.

None of us can say that there is 'nothing up there' because we don't know for sure.

Oh, and I'm not a weak minded person for having my beliefs!

Aren't 'angels' in the same bracket as fortune-tellers, horoscopes, crystals, tree-hugging, chanting etc.? A sort of religion-lite comfort-blanket for the type of person that tells you they are 'not religious but very spiritual'

I believe they exist/existed. Can't say I like them though.

My Mother believes in angels. She says they do things like help her find a parking space near the doctors surgery, or whatever I want to know why they are finding parking spaces when they should be busy helping abused people/war victims/ starving people and the like.
It's a lovely idea, and I think the people that believe, believe because they want to so much (for example, my aunt started to believe when she was ill)

I've seen angels around the moon - I do have an overactive imaginatoin though. I think anything is possible and it's best to keep an open mind to the possiblity.

I do believe in coincidences and in optimism/positive interpretation of mundane events.
