Confused

Mind you, I actually own a goat. It's in my back garden. It's an evil bastard.

DP was sexually assaulted by a goat at Beale Park last year.
He hasn't dared wear Creed since.

LadyFlumpalot · 18/06/2011 19:55

Oooh, I used to live near Beale park. I went all the time as a child. I was never assualted by the livestock though...

They only go for adults, Lady, they have standards you know.

I bet if you went now, you'd get lucky.

LadyFlumpalot · 18/06/2011 20:06

Ahhhh, I see!

Not sure if I would be complimented or offended! Grin

Give it time, my young friend.

When you are as old as my DP, you take it where you can get it.

Funtimewincies · 18/06/2011 20:14

There are probably many websites dedicated to it.

twoboots · 18/06/2011 20:15

i was once attacked by a vicuna on heat! their wool is fab, but expensive. alpaca meat is tasty, the wool is nice too. be careful if you think you are buying alpaca, it could be llalma and you wont tell until it gets wet. goat curry is nice but curry goat is better.

KathyImLost · 18/06/2011 20:15

I have a helpful guide for you all so you can tell the difference between these animals:

Llamas & alpacas look like each other but alpacas are smaller & cuter & tend not to spit quite so much.

You can use the fleece from alpacas to make yarn. It is the 2nd warmest yarn there is.

People often get confused between goats and sheep (some sheep have horns, some goats don't, so the horns thing is no use). An easy way to distinguish them is goats' tails stand up, sheep's hang down.

Please don't slate me if I put those apostrophes in the wrong places, I stared at that sentence for a good 5 minutes. I've only had 1 hour sleep and I'm covered in snot and it's not even mine.

KathyImLost · 18/06/2011 20:19

Twoboots! Vicuña wool IS fab. It's expensive because you can only shear a vicuña once every 3 years.

Also, I'm not being poncy, putting that fancy thing over the 'n' in vicuña, the iPhone keeps doing it. See, did it again.

Funtimewincies · 18/06/2011 20:21

How on earth can you confuse a goat and a sheep Confused? They look completely different!

Is it troll snot KathyI'mLost?

aliceliddell · 18/06/2011 20:30

SamsGoldilocks · 18/06/2011 20:39

Funtimewincies · 18/06/2011 20:44

Nah, that looks like a sheep. But I'm from North Wales. We see a LOT of sheep Grin. And I don't like lamb [bitter emoticon].

Funtimewincies · 18/06/2011 20:45

My eyes, that's one ugly animal Shock!

KathyImLost · 18/06/2011 20:48

it's Welsh Grin

Funtimewincies · 18/06/2011 20:50

Fabulous Grin! And that explains a lot, I think it's evolution at work. You really don't want to be wandering on the hillside looking too attractive.

Omigawd · 18/06/2011 22:59

...just takes you to the Farmers Weekly centrefold.

Corrr...look at the udders on that!!!

QOD · 18/06/2011 23:02

Funtimewincies · 19/06/2011 18:45

aliceliddell · 19/06/2011 19:59

Funtime - Ultimate goat fansite? Ultimate? Surely not while we have breath in our bodies! Have we no pride?
