Have you seen it?

Attractive, slightly simpering woman suffering from stress incontinence exits lift with handsome man ( colleague?) and her dress gets caught in the lift door and reveals her knickers while man is bending down for spurious reason so could theoretically get a good squint at her fanjo , but WHEW! She's wearing tena lady so he can get a right good eyeful of her vaggy buts but not be offended by the possiblilty she might be leaking urine.

I haven't seen the ad, but I am weeping

Malificence · 10/06/2011 12:38

Admit it Hully, it's the dribblestop, isn't it? Wink

pooka · 10/06/2011 12:38

I was completely shocked when I saw it. Looked like the kind of ad made by the apprentice recruits.

It's the ridiculous bit at the end where she's obviously sharing what happened in a "ha ha, and then I peed a little into my knickers" way, when the mere act of chuckling slightly makes her do an "oops I did it again" face as she pees some more.

Is really quite disturbing. I know that stress incontinence is nothing to be ashamed of. But for some reason I find the ad quite horrifying.

pooka · 10/06/2011 12:39

Horrifying in a bemused and aghast way - not horrifying horrifying along the lines of "oh the humanity".

Hullygully · 10/06/2011 12:45

Does she wee in the lift while the attractive man is spuriously on the floor looking at her undercarriage? Twice?

DirtyMartini · 10/06/2011 13:07

Is this on YouTube? I am desperate to see it now.

Hullygully · 10/06/2011 14:16

Yes me too. Anyone know?

AnyF · 10/06/2011 14:19

am weeping also

at work, and trying to cover it

I need one of those effing tena pads myself Grin

AnyF · 10/06/2011 14:20

doesn't the lady in question have a red dress on too ?

'cos red dresses are the epitome of sex-on-legs where blokes are concerned

it's laughable, really

smashinghairday · 10/06/2011 14:24

I need a link to this ad!

The ad is so bad but this thread is so funny.

"Have a happy perios" - will I fuck, I enjoy being a ball of fury for 4 days and nobody is taking away the enjoyment I get from the look of shock and panic on my nearest and dearest's faces.

Punkatheart · 10/06/2011 14:43

I would love to be seen in my big brown knickers with my incontinence pad stuffed in 'em. I would laugh and flirt, then tell my friend about it. Not.

jasper · 10/06/2011 23:57

well done Punk. I searched and could not find it.

Pooka that is exactly how I felt

You all say about OLD LADIES having pee problems, we were talking about it today in our playgroup and we are all using Tena lady since popping kids and we are all UNDER 30 !!!!!!! :o

Maybe the ad will have teenagers in it soon ...... !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

froggy13 · 24/06/2011 11:10

PS - is noone else avoiding the kids trampoline ???!?!?!?!?

worraliberty · 24/06/2011 11:13

How many is all Froggy?

I've never known anyone to need a Tena lady after childbirth but I've known two to need them in their 50's Shock

froggy13 · 24/06/2011 11:56

There were 5 of us ... 2 of them are on their second kids ...

No way - its not just women in their 50's !!!!!!!!!!! How depressing !

belledechocchipcookie · 24/06/2011 12:26

They should have gone for the 'because women are never really out of nappies' approach. I could work in advertising, it sounds easy! Grin

Froggy, there's loads that can be done, and wholly agree that it's not just an old lady thing. I'm on medication to help it, so there. Grin

TakeMeDrunkImHome · 24/06/2011 13:20

WTF does he pick up off the floor at the end of the ad?? A small round purple thing???

LoveBeingAbleToNamechange · 24/06/2011 13:26

It's the voice over as well taking about a little 'opps' [boak]

youarekidding · 24/06/2011 13:33

Exactly what I was thinking takeme.

It is a daft advert. 'My heart went oops the moment when I met you' Hmm WFT? It does allude to seeing a fit man making you leak urine.

Would have been realistic if she was bouncing on a trampoline and the dress got caught in the springs.

WhollyGhost · 24/06/2011 13:42

there is no need to use sex to sell bog standard incontinence pads, but for these slimline versions, why else would you buy them?

I guess we can look forward to more ads along the same lines, featuring tight trousers and gratuitious shots of the shapely arse of a conventionally attractive woman of childbearing age.
