To wonder why people are happier watching murder than sex?

Why is it okay to depict murder on afternoon TV, but sex is banned?

What sort of messed up values does our society have?

I don't want more sex/nudity during the day. I was joking before - I don't actually like watching sex scenes at all. I think it stems from the weirdly noisy kissing in Neighbours in my formative years.

I do find it upsetting that plain old sex or nudity causes a fuss but scenes of violence and torture are commonplace, even more so in early evening prime time telly. A knob is just a knob, around half of us have one. Hurting people should be taboo, not dangly bits.

Whoever said Loose Women is worse was spot on though. In fact, it incites violence (but deffo not sex).

I expect the afternoon murder is not that graphic, it does not really have the appeal of 'naughty' so less likely to be watched by youngsters
also murder not part of everyone's experience it seems more abstract and usually shown in a reassuring context where the baddie gets nicked/killed

now sex has far too many connotations and it is usually badly done and not really entertaining in any way
