Going on from a thread about a gastric band got me thinking if money was no object and you was unhappy would you succumb to the surgeons knife.
I had a nose job a few years ago, looking at it now it's made no difference to my life yes it looks great better than my hook nose but it's not changed my life.

I really don't think I would ever get anything done. I'm only 29 though, and I would definitely never rule anything out, but if it was really upsetting me that I was looking old, I'd do it.

i have had veneers and they cost a lot of money

i had just received a good bonus at work and this is what i wanted to spend my money on. i often get told i have a lovely smile and teeth and i always have a big open smile. at first i probably looked a littled demented as i was smiling all the time to show them off. my teeth were not that bad but now they are very nice

and they are really natural looking veneers even my new dentist could not tell until he examined me, far better than simon cowells tombstones

i woudl like to have a breast reduction and woudl not say no to a little nip and tuck

I had a boob job after breastfeeding for 4 years took all the volume out. It's one of the best things I ever did.

perceptionreality · 19/12/2011 16:44

I've also had lip fillers - not always great, I have mixed feelings about them.

lljkk · 19/12/2011 19:11

omg, I was toying with idea of veneers but then I looked up the cost & found some horror stories, omg, omg....

I wanted to contribute that I don't really identify with people who like to have vanity surgery, but here I am fretting about my ugly yellow teeth, so shall slink off to silence in the hypocrites' corner.

I've had cosmetic dentistry and it changed my life and my self esteem.

If I could afford it and want bloody terrified of surgery and needles I would have:
Laser eye surgery
Breast reduction and lift
Liposuction on thighs and back lol

FrenchRuby · 19/12/2011 19:20

Money no object? I'd have a tummy tuck and boob job. 2 Kids have left me with the most awful boobs and weight loss has left me with an awful stomach. Im 23 and I have the body of a 90yr old.
But unfortunately I don't have the money or can really justify spending that much money on myself so I am stuck with it haha.

Kayano · 19/12/2011 19:21

If people don't like veneers what I had was called a 'composite' where they just sort of build a new tooth on your old looth to even out your smile

I got my front 4 teeth done and it made so much difference and was only 400 pound. Was 4 years ago and lasts 5 - 10 years

mumnotmachine · 19/12/2011 20:14

I would have a boob reduction and lift so they not hanging around my waist any more.
Also need a tummy tuck, lipo, bag removal...the list goes on.

Body tramsplant would be easier, both externally and internally. If I could get rid of all the niggling health problems as well I would be one very happy lady!
