I was at an open farm today. We were invited to feed lambs at 2.30. We arrived early but by the time the lambs were due the feed quite a few parents had arrived with their lo.
I was a bit worried my dd and ds wouldn't get a turn even though we were one of the first in line so I told my dd she may have to share with ds and they prob won't get a bottle each.
Anyway to my delight the farmer explained everyone was to make a circle and the 7 bottles would be passed around the circle ensuring each child had a turn and maybe two. I was delighted as this ensured no tears. Anyway the bottles were passed around clockwise and my lo did get two goes each BUT and to
get to the point the mum next to us didn't once pass her bottle and let her dd hog the whole experience. The child next to them must have missed out so my dh passed them our bottle.

I really wish now I'd commented on her selfishness. Her child surely will copy her actions and grow up selfish and uncaring too!

What's the mumsnet jury say. Have you any similar stories to shock me with? Shock

husband also nearly got into a fight with another dad over turns on a playground merrygo round thingmy. Was totally the other guys fault of course so we both threw him to the ground and let Ds kick sand in his face.

I'd have shoved that bottle so far up her arse she could of kissed the lambs and still fed them...

I'm gonna have to go lay down now, ive grossed myself out.

Like cockroaches scottishmummy? Grin

So now we know what the aftermath of a nuclear winter will be like - no food, no trees, rats, cockroaches and pushy mums! Good lord. I hope I go in the first attack.

Try going to Italy... kids there are so spoiled it's untrue. We were in Rome once with DD (then 11 months). Waited patiently for a baby swing to come free in the park (three swings). Bless her, she waited nicely in my arms, then got upset and started pointing at the swing and babbling and finally after ten minutes had full on crying tantrum, trying to throw herself onto the swing. None of the other Mums, pushing their considerably older children, moved one inch.
As I didn't know the Italian for "Jesus, you old trolls. Couldn't my baby have a go after TEN minutes?" we left.
