Did you know that The Hangover was called A Very Bad Trip when it was screened in France? I thought that was both interesting AND amusing.

YANBU, but not for the reason you think, staffy being quite a weighty dog, if it moved suddenly the basket could tip over. I wouldnt even have been slightly worried about leaving my newborns alone with my old staffy dog I had as a kid. When my lil sister was born, he would sleep next to wherever she was, but never growled at anyone or anything. He also let her use him as a baby walker when she grabbed his ears, pulled herself up and wobbled along beside him using her as a prop. I loved that dog he was ace.
For all those worrying about the baby being injured, I should point out that an infant is at least as likely to be attacked BY ITS OWN PARENT in this country, than by the family dog. Sad fact isnt it.
