To think that trolling is funny?

I am new here so bare with me. So I am a member of another parenting site and tbh its only good when a shit stirrer comes on. Its so boring otherwise. I have lovely friends on the site but omg its dead unless a troll comes on. They all moan about the troll, start new threads up about the troll and people then joke and have a laugh on the trolls behalf iykwim. I can't help it but like the troll that starts something because its when all get together. Maybe I am talking shite here but thats how I see it.

I'm so sorry disasterpiece, I misread your post as 'I know who you are', for some reason.

I read your post more than once as well, funny how misreading something can get stuck in your head.

I think there's a big difference between 'WUM's' and genuine nasty trolls. Of course there are people around who are genuinely manipulative and 'suffer' genuine personality disorders. These people can cause havoc on the internet, as they can in real life.
I think you always have to be aware that any post/poster may not be completely genuine and protect yourself accordingly.
WUM's can be really funny and liven any board up.

I find trolls boring actually. It's annoying when you have spent time answering someone to find out that they were actually lying. It's sad when people are not interesting enough themselves and so have to make up stupid threads just to get people to talk to them, or worse to upset people.

Why do you spend your own previous time on a site, any site, which is only interesting when someone starts a bun fight?

Many Internet forums are v v similar to school playgrounds.
