Would surnames help?
Can you get the other party bag gifts inside the egg?

CarnivalBizarre · 04/05/2011 23:19

You can buy creme eggs all year round - would it be ok to have one of them in a party bag or is your gripe that your child had the name DEREK piped onto his received Thorntons egg?

StatelyPoshBeartrothal · 04/05/2011 23:20

CB - this really is a read the thread moment

Jonnyfan · 04/05/2011 23:20

ChaosTrulyReigns · 04/05/2011 23:23

oh no definteyl not
I just assumed you had other tat and it would look neat inside the egg

ChaosTrulyReigns · 04/05/2011 23:24

And surnames because those little icing letters are delicious - I remember them from my youth which was yonks ago.

StatelyPoshBeartrothal · 04/05/2011 23:24

amd be sort of a novelty party bag iyswim

CarnivalBizarre · 04/05/2011 23:24

ooooh I seeee - the eggs had the invitees name on them ...well thats a bit precious, a bit like a royal wedding mug for a 5 yr olds party Grin

It can't be any worse than my son being sent a Chritmas card from his friends parents with a picture of his friend taped inside - a school picture ....I was baffled!

StatelyPoshBeartrothal · 04/05/2011 23:25

oops not saying the eggs are tat it would be the other tat that would be tat iyswim

Time for bed before I cause any more havoc I think

ChaosTrulyReigns · 04/05/2011 23:26

You ratbung - you've got me worried now.

I'm already anticiapatiing Sunday night's AIBU.

AIBU to think what the...mmm little icing letters...mmm
Never mind :)

bellavita · 04/05/2011 23:27

My godmother used to buy me a Thornton's egg every year with my name iced on it - gawd those were the days.... I used to love those eggs

ChaosTrulyReigns · 04/05/2011 23:27

Carnival - the eggs will have 40 different names on them - each of the guests.

Got it?

Smile Grin

Chaos - cheers for enlightening me Grin

I did read it that way first and then I read the OP another way and got all confuzzled ...its not difficult for me to get mixed up

TragicallyHip · 04/05/2011 23:31

Rubbish idea Hmm

As you can't use them send them over this way..

ChaosTrulyReigns · 04/05/2011 23:33

Nope, you'll just deconstruct them and then liquid nitrogenize them in to pea-like globules.

Hmm

TragicallyHip · 04/05/2011 23:39

Been watching too much masterchef eh Chaos??

claretandcheese · 04/05/2011 23:45

Great idea, go for it! Sounds a lot of work for the Thornton's staff mind you, unless you're putting the names on yourself.

UKSky · 04/05/2011 23:49

If you're still hankering after your OWN chocolate. Get down to Asda. Mars easter eggs with a mars bar, twix and snickers in too - 50p!!!!

FlaminGreatGallah · 04/05/2011 23:53

Sounds good to me.

I'd be disappointed if the party-bags didn't include Bear though.

ChaosTrulyReigns · 04/05/2011 23:55

claret - I know !!

I'm hoping that they'll be so pleased to get rid of 40 of them, they'll be happy to oblige.
