who is 12 - well I really don't think so but apparently she is going to be sulking forever - well until she is 16

i came home and she was hoovering after having made me dinner and pudding - then she pounced I did smell a rat when I heard the hoover...

well I have had the "but everyone, just everone in year 7 has a belly buttin pierced"

my sister had it done and it went baaaaaad, literally want to vom just thinking about it. bit like the scene from kevin and perry go large.... (she wasn't 12 tho!)

Thanks for the photos, I shall store them in case it comes up again. dd2 has been told it is not even being talked about as its not happening and I am not debating it.

Bad idea, but in dds good catholic school, pretty much all of the yr 7s 8s & 9s DO have belly button rings

no way..my dd is 13 and not even got ears done

You didn't spend 9 months growing that body just for her to poke it up! My DD won't be allow that sort of thing until she is an 'adult'....16 now, maybe 18 by then?

My best friend wanted hers done when we were 12, and asked her parents if she could. They allowed her to, but only if her mum did it. (her mum is a GP, so would use sterile needles, keep on top of her to keep it clean, etc) it still ended up getting infected and disgusting!
Giver her a couple of years and there will be something else she wants instead. With us it was belly button, then tongues... I still only have 1 hole in each ear lobe and 1 at the top of my left ear...
