I know that to lose weight sensibly is to do it slowly but I am so much stuck in a rut that I need quick results...
I need to lose 3 stone and once I have done that I can dress nicely and feel good about myself which will hopefully start me on the right path to becoming happier and more content.
I know happiness comes from within but its very difficult to feel my own within under so many layers of fat....my family are all slim and I look like I eat my own and their food!! Its very depressing!
I put on weight over 4 years when I started working and doing OU at the same time...I am now going to Uni in Sept to hopefully achieve a life long dream and feel that the outside of me does not reflect the inside..
Please please please if you have any quick ways of losing weight let me know...many thanks xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

The great thing about the Dukan diet is when you are on the consolodation phase you eat carbs/fruit etc and with one day a week of just protein you can maintain. Like I've said I've lost about 17lbs (well 18lb as of today) and I'm 4lb away from target. I can have a blow out at the weekend and still not put on any weight each week. I find it very easy.

I don't do it online, I bought the books from Amazon.

Also I am doing Jillian Michael's DVD - 30 Day Shred (hard, circuit training but only 20 mins long - its fab).

Good luck with your journey anyway.

Hello Ladies, I've been reading your posts with interest, I am a wellness coach and mum to a 2 yr old! Definitely losing weight slowly is the way to go in order to keep the weight off long term. 2lb per week is great. Also lean proteins and keeping up the 8 glasses of water are great tips. If anyone would like a FREE wellness check, please get in touch and I can chat more about what i do! Thank you!

Hi. I'm trying to lose weight by September too. For my wedding. I've given up bread, pasta & rice. Cut right back on alcohol and am doing exercise for 45 mins a day, 5 days a week. I am starting to feel better already (just a week or so in). Hope OP is doing well too.
