Just seen the news coverage of Imogen on This Morning. I know she was upset but she looked older than her 28 years. I always thought she was attractive when she was on BB but she appears to have ruined what she was given naturally.

OP posts:

I'd heard the TV one was a tall presenter on Top Gear, and not Lugh Haurie at all.

Ooopsadaisy · 27/04/2011 14:26

Part of the problem with all this is that if the footballer and actor are not the footballer and actor, then the speculation has done more harm than the truth, surely?

Certainly in the case of the actor, there are stronger candidates emerging, but the damage is already done to Dr House and a few others (who I won't mention because I'm too scared to).

This woman is also getting all the attention she so obviously craves as well. How does that make the world a better place?

frgr · 27/04/2011 14:27

CinnabarRed me too actually.. i saw it online, a newspaper ran a story about it... i don't know if they retracted it OR if they didn't reveal the guy's name... wish i could remember!

PestoShearsSheepInSummer · 27/04/2011 14:28

she's a silly tart.

Ooopsadaisy · 27/04/2011 14:30

CinnabarRed - if it is him then surely we wouldn't know about it because of the super-injunction? Also, his affair is still on the internet so surely it has to be removed?

Viagrafalls · 27/04/2011 14:31

Well, I just googled a bit and it cam up with [http://maxfarquar.com/2011/04/helen-wood-british-actor-super-injunction/ this little gem] Smile

strandednomore · 27/04/2011 14:31

paniconthestreetsoflondon - thank you, I have more of an idea what you are all on about now! Although still confused as to whether the footballer IS the footbaler sort of mentioned on this thread or that is just speculation! If so wasn't he married to a Hollyoaks actress or was that all over ages ago?

gnushoes · 27/04/2011 14:32

wrong hugh?

Viagrafalls · 27/04/2011 14:32

I mean this

CinnabarRed · 27/04/2011 14:33

Well, not many of the others who have super injunctions have managed to keep it quiet on the internet, so I don't see why Mr Top Gear would be any different! Wouldn't it depend on who moderates the sites in question?

Although Andrew Marr came as a surprise to me - I hadn't heard that one rumoured at all.

Fred Godwin must be right if it was reported in Hansard.

Personally, I think all of the people holding super injunctions would be better off letting the story come out so they can deal with the aftermath - this endless speculation is much more damaging to them.

Stiefeliblue · 27/04/2011 14:35

Who knew Imogen Thomas had a music career? Apparently she's been doing Giggs for months.

strandednomore · 27/04/2011 14:38

I knew Andrew Marr had a super injunction - must be because we get Private Eye.
That link is interesting - it's so true that the speculation is going to damage so many more people than the actual guilty party. I am very confused about all the Hugh's.....

cfc · 27/04/2011 14:38

Wrong Hugh, see mandrake for second Hugh mentioned.....

PanicOnTheStreetsOfLondon · 27/04/2011 14:39

Stief: Grin

Newgolddream · 27/04/2011 14:40

pesto - what would you call him then if shes a *silly tart"?

Ooopsadaisy · 27/04/2011 14:41

All this speculation ....

Imagine if you were one of the innocent actors being speculated about .... it must be absolutely awful.

The fallout would be sharp and swift for the guilty one and the "damage" to his wife and children must already have hit hard.

adamschic · 27/04/2011 14:42

I saw this but didn't remember or recognise her so felt a bit sorry for her at first, saying she hadn't been briefed about the correct answers then they mentioned big brother and I lot all sympathy when I realised who she was.

So that's who the footballer is RG! I would. Grin

CinnabarRed · 27/04/2011 14:43

Actually, given that there are currently 30 super injunctions out there, we could ALL be right....

I hope not. I always think that Hugh Laurie is just lovely.

PestoShearsSheepInSummer · 27/04/2011 14:43

a prat

Newgolddream · 27/04/2011 14:45

Well I think he should be named if she is (and Im not a fan of her either), at the end of the day she was single and childless - and he isnt.

sharbie · 27/04/2011 14:45

pestos right on both counts

donnie · 27/04/2011 14:46

is it definitely bryan biggs then?

he's a stupid tart as well!

squeakytoy · 27/04/2011 14:46

If you google Hugh Laurie and affair, you will find plenty of his misdemeanours... he doesnt appear to have any injuctions on the go yet though...

Ooopsadaisy · 27/04/2011 14:48

I am a huge fan of Hugh Laurie and admire him greatly. I would be very happy if it wasn't him.

The links above say that the actor is Scottish and Hugh Laurie was born in Oxford. The Downton Hugh was born in London. I suppose it may refer to the nationality of his parents though?

The other main candidate is definitely Scottish.
