When I win the lottery!!.....................................

breathing · 25/04/2011 09:24

why is it so cheap?

JustCallMeGrouchy · 25/04/2011 09:32

im with chearfull yank or heliumballons.

Dont think i can do neighbours anymore .I love the fact can chuck kids in garden at 7am without worrying about disturbing anyone and if ever had the money would make sure any neighbours are a disatnce away

BigSooz · 25/04/2011 09:34

It's lovely but I don't understand how it can be going for that price in that area. A steal. Something has to be wrong with it.

heliumballoons · 25/04/2011 09:41

Thats exactly it justcall. I currently live in a HA flat. Its lovely and was new when I moved in, park over the road and large communal gardens. and houses every which way out of the window.

I dream of having a sit on mower and chugging round my acres with DS. Grin

It is just me and DS and if I had a property like the ones above I would provide respite care for disadvanteged and disabled children - I could fill it with laughter.

CareyFakes · 25/04/2011 09:42

It's nice, bit too 'modern' for me, plus it's just a flat.

I love looking at houses and dreaming

magicmelons · 25/04/2011 09:46

you need to move up north, a whole lot more house for your money.

bandgeek · 25/04/2011 09:48

This is the object of my desire

I work about 5 minutes away from here. Would need a lottery win to afford it though.

noddyholder · 25/04/2011 09:51

Love it esp the bathroom! Far too many generic travertine and white bathrooms that has a real moroccan spa feel beautiful Love teh kitchen too. You have great taste!

SlackSally · 25/04/2011 09:51

Is it just me who loves the floorplans even more than the photos?

Honeybee79 · 25/04/2011 09:51

Bloody hell it's only a 3 bed flat!

Have mine instead. A snip at £269,000 and in Peckham Rye.

JustCallMeGrouchy · 25/04/2011 09:53

bandgeek stunning views but still neighbours

noddyholder · 25/04/2011 09:53

I love a floorplan!

heliumballoons · 25/04/2011 09:55

bandgeek That is very similar to my ex-(almost)IL house.

and slacksally No, I only look at the ones that also have a floorplan. Blush

bandgeek · 25/04/2011 09:55

I could cope with neighbours if I lived there Grin

SlackSally · 25/04/2011 09:56

This is my current object of lust (despite lack of floorplans)

so massive, we simply didn't have time to measure all the basement rooms

habbibu · 25/04/2011 09:56

So cheap? You lot live on a different planet. Round here you get this or this for that kind of money or a good bit less.

And even in v expensive St Andrews you get a lot more for a million+ here

BigSooz · 25/04/2011 09:58

London, habbibu.

You get used to thinking half a mill is a snip, which I agree, is madness.

I am constantly looking at findaproperty.com and saying to DH 'If we moved to Lincolnshire we could buy a 16th century mansion for the price of our modest semi in norf London!'

heliumballoons · 25/04/2011 10:01

slacksally You must live near me!!!

I love all the old houses in Southsea. I could even buy a terraced house there - they are tardis'.

heliumballoons · 25/04/2011 10:02

link to goodbyes property

SlackSally · 25/04/2011 10:04

heliumballoons

I live in Southsea, yes. In fact, my flat is part of a beautiful old house in Southsea. Just a shame they've carved it up.

goodbyemrschips · 25/04/2011 10:07

Thank you balloons

earlyriser · 25/04/2011 10:11

£700k for a 3 Bedroom flat???? You could buy a whole castle for that money up here!

openerofjars · 25/04/2011 10:14

And to think I'm looking for a 3 bed house round about the £160k mark in Sheffield.

Crikey.
