Yes but does he have the children to look after? I would get mine at 6 pm from the cm, get dinner, bath, in bed for 7-7.30 and then have no one to mind him. Then I would have to prepare work for the next day. Home work outs yes, gym NO

I hear ya Dreaming of Romance! I wouldn't give up work, but would like to have a bit more balance. I also am main breadwinner - dp works, but I earn more - and it's a bit like drowning slowly. Never doing anything well enough...

You need to 're think your working life as its making you so unhappy dreaming. I work four days a week, which still leaves 3 days not working, when I can shop, lunch with friends, catch up on things round the house etc (though sweating in the gym is not my idea of fun, walking in the fresh air is more my bag)
Life should not need to be all or nothing, either working and never having time for treats, or not having a job at all.
You might find that if you were not working at all the grass might not be as green as you think. I loved being a sahm but after a year was ready for something more, and my dh also likes the fact that we both are contributing financially to our home and lifestyle
Why not look at other jobs or ways of getting a better balance
