it has invaded my tv because i am too lazy to reach the remote and switch over

Who in their right mind wastes their money on this utter shite?

I can actuall visualise the sort of person. It is not a flattering image.

Some stuff is good actually Blush

Laura Geller and smashbox makeup
Liz Earle and elemis skincare
Nintendo, playstation, lots of electricals, tom toms etc...
GHD's
Lulu Guiness Handbags

Agree about the creepy dolls though Wink

ilovesooty · 22/04/2011 01:12

I like Kipling bags. Blush

Now even the presenters can't keep their faces straight when talking about the Royal Wedding monkeys.

NettoSuperstar · 22/04/2011 01:12

Jeezus shite £76 notes?
You could get that in Primarni for a fiver if you had no taste

NettoSuperstar · 22/04/2011 01:14

Oh yes, I love the smashbox makeup, all the makeup in fact, but not shite bags and creepy dolls.
I like the crap homewares too, such as miracle doormats and mops.

mamaz0n · 22/04/2011 01:15

chaos that just made me laugh so loud the dog shit himself.

NettoSuperstar · 22/04/2011 01:16

I get drawn in too - one memorable night contained the golf hour where they spent a good twenty minutes eulogising about these amazing 'Lake Balls' - took me all that time to realise they were secondhand balls dredged from lakes.

Have managed to wean myself off it - realised it was a problem when I broke into a Dawn Bibby accent every time I got out the Sellotape.

WillYouStewTheLambShankOh · 22/04/2011 01:32

The QVC presenter is plop.

I have bought 2 things from QVC; a crate of Elemis stuff and a wheelbarrow of Molton Brown for about £30 each.

NettoSuperstar · 22/04/2011 01:37

Do adults buy those bags with monkey keyrings?
I don't get it[buconfused]

WillYouStewTheLambShankOh · 22/04/2011 01:38

Dawn Bibby accent - ha ha! It drives me nuts - not her regional accent, no problems with that, but that weird hyper-annunciation of "s" and "t" that some women seem to embrace. Lots of "literally" and "actually" too.

"Ssssso, the anTique rosssse paper ssssssssTack isssss liTerally going to revolutionisssse your ssssswags and Toppersssss"

Then she does that mad thing of leafing through 40 cards to camera and they are all breathtakingly ugly.

Disclaimer- QVC is my insomnia treatment. Not working tonight...

ohfuschia · 22/04/2011 01:46

I find her voice strangely hypnotic, now you come to mention it it must be all the 'sssssssss's'

NettoSuperstar · 22/04/2011 01:58

I still have this channel on and I don't even like the bags.

WillYouStewTheLambShankOh · 22/04/2011 02:03

Warning, we have kaftans, repeat, we have incoming kaftans...

cantspel · 22/04/2011 02:05

My mum buys loads off qvc as she is disabled and housebound. Most of what she buys she gives to me for my birthday or christmas.

So far i have 5 kipling bags, a kipling purse, foldway shopping bag, ruck sack and pencil cae
3 pairs of birkinstocks
a shed load of liz earle stuff
the same in molton brown and elemis.
Lots of cooking pots, chopping boards and a bright pink silicone baking set.

Plus plenty of stuff like coats, jumpers, 3 pairs of boots and even sheepskin slippers.

GapsAGoodUn · 22/04/2011 02:10

I buy the skincare and makeup from there too.

Because I have supersensitive skin and I can use it for 30 days before deciding it's crap and sending it back. Can't get that anywhere else!

NettoSuperstar · 22/04/2011 02:15

I'd love a bright pink silicone baking set. I like baking, and pink.

Not so much the dodgy patterned kaftans.

cantspel · 22/04/2011 02:16

I love L'occitane Cherry Blossom Bath & Shower Gel and qvc often have it in their deal of the day.

cantspel · 22/04/2011 02:17

the baking set is ace and even has a bright pink sillcone baking tray.

NettoSuperstar · 22/04/2011 02:18

I want it.
I have a pink DIY kit too. I like pink.
Just don't tell the feminists[bugrin]

expatinscotland · 22/04/2011 02:21

I don't have anything but basic channels. The one that sells 'gemstones'. I don't buy any of that. But I think I know who does.

cantspel · 22/04/2011 02:24

Your secret is safe on this thread as i am sure that feminists wouldn't dream of using a shopping channel as the women presenters shave their legs and wear make up to look pretty for the camera's.

i also have a nails inc set from qvc full of shocking pinks, reds and purples.
