I know I am being vvvvvvvvv UR. But...to find that bar that appears at the top REALLY annoying and distracting. ARRGH.

Not that I'm fussy or anything...

MN has a bar now?

I'm sure I have no 'x' - the bar goes all the way to the edge of the screen, and the only thing in the right hand corner is the Search button :(

YANBU. BUT! There is a solution, well, kind of. There is a little 'x'/cross you can click to the side of it, meaning it's no longer there, hurrah! (I do this everytime it dares to appear.)

the dangly twitter thing has stopped for me (i was ready to hoy the laptop out of the window yesterday), and i've now found the leeeeetle cunningly disguised 'x' thanks to zillah!

Agree, it is annoying, ooh, I've just done the cross in top right hand corner and it's gone. :)

The little drop down thing has gone but the bar is there.I am so glad I found this thread I thought I must have pressed something inadvertently.
Ah just seen the cross and bar has gone now.
