If the drop down box could be customisable then we could all put our favourite topic in there.

Tiny little white x in a black circle to the right bottom of the new blue bar....click it and the bar disappears...

I have a shortcut to Threads I'm On on my toolbar so whizz up there to get to top of page. Then click on Active Convos. I never go to front page of MN, always come straight to talk as well.

I'm more bothered about the script that keeps not finishing loading I keep getting pop ups about and the fact when I click on "more" next to the topic lisys it just reloads the whole bloody page again.

Nope, nothing there, I even brought my netbook up to my nose in case it was really tiny.

I'm using Firefox, could that be why? I'm not a techy, but usually can fudge my way through something!

If you're using Firefox, you can install Stylish:
go to Stylish add on page and click "Add to Firefox"

There will be a "S" in the bottom right corner of your browser window.

Click it, then "Manage styles" then "Write new style" and, after putting in whatever you want to name it, put this in the larger text box at the bottom:

Writing it down, it sounds more complicated than it is. My file is a lot larger, I just add to it as and when something annoys me.

The way the Facebook / Twitter / Print icons dangle down is driving me mad, and even though you can close it, it open agains when you go into a different thread.

Yes it's annoying, especially as it flickers when I scroll up/down, it's giving me a headache. I don't even see any x to make it disappear...

The x I clicked was on the right hand corner next to it. Very small and a greyish colour.

My bar just reappeared in another thread but then on others it doesn't appear at all. Very confusing.

It is horrible and I hate it! Particularly the 'tail' of FB, Twitter etc buttons that hangs down. I was very pleased to find the X to get rid of it but it keeps coming back.

I am set up at MN Classic! So I want my Classic back, please, without the annoying bar!
